It really depends where you start. If you start at Sham Castle you may park at the University of Bath.

It’s a pleasant walk from the city centre but will take 30 mins

There are some free-of-charge sections half way down Cleveland Walk near the junction with Sham Castle Lane, but don't be surprised if they're full.
