The official website (gamlehaugen.no) is extremely confusing & in Norwegian only. It appears to be open June - August at 12:00, 1:00 & 2:00 (possibly for tours?) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays only . Gamlehaugen is located 10-15 minutes south of Bergen's city center. It is near a main road so many buses could take you to that area (67, 51 or 53) but there would be a short walk to get to the residence after that. A taxi would cost around 350 nkr.
