There's a small parking area off Lake Street. You have to drive up a driveway to the car park. The trail is very short. Just walk about 150 yards along the creek to the base of the falls.

People do fish below the Falls, especially in the season when the lake salmon head upstream --and exciting sight in itself. HOWEVER, you should know that the waters at the fishing point carry a freight of lead and other substances left over from the effluvium from the Ithaca Gun factory, although factory has been closed for many years and there have been big clean-ups. One or two fish probably will not affect health but more than that surely may. Caution is advised. Catch and release is a possibility.
