Lovely park and botanic gardens for a gentle walk. Plenty of shady spots available to keep cool. Nice cafe for snacks and drinks.Full review by 756rachelm

A truly amazing space ! Easy to get to via the Cat bus (and free) The view over the Swan River is breath taking.You can spend hours up here above Perth.Full review by Mark J

kings park although one park is split into sections so maybe what you are thinking of didn't see a bamboo alley ourselves but its worth a visit anyway

Yes there certainly will be plenty to see. Great area to catch a bus and have a guided tour around the park and then the city as well

Yes, there is a free 935 bus from the city which drops you off right at the park and the same number bus returns you to the city.
