Boarded the boat and it was absolute chaos with half eaten food everywhere and nowhere for us to sit . So we asked a crew member where we should sit and was told you have to find you own seats . We … Full review by Steve W

3 dives with family (2 adults, 15yo girl, 12yo boy), private guide. Trip was amazing! Weather and ocean conditions are no doubt important, and admit we were lucky on both. However, that is not all,… Full review by HoyoungA1

I booked (and paid) for an outer reef trip months in advance. With a few weeks left I was informed our trip was being canceled for "mechanical" reasons. We had to scramble a bit to get a similar trip… Full review by October141066
Hi! I will be visiting Cairns in December and would like to book a snorkel trip. My level of experience is "beginner". Would this dive and snorkel cruise be appropriate for someone at my level?
A:
Yes. If you are a competent swimmer and a bit adventurous you will have a great time snorkeling. We didn’t dive so I can’t answer that question.
Hi, I can see you offer an intro to diving. But I just wanted to confirm as a non certified diver would an Instructor be with me for the dives I take? Thanks!
A:
Yes 100%, they won’t let you dive without an instructor
I read one review on either this site or another one regarding Silverswift that indicated you may or may not visit all three reefs and may only visit three areas of the same reef. Can you clarify whether you get to all three reefs? Or, what the basis for deciding this is. The review i read indicated it may be dependent on how many people are onboard for a specific tour. Thank you!

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your question. On any given day, Silverswift will visit three dive sites within the same reef system. Very occasionally, the skipper will move between reefs however, this is uncommon as the travel eats into snorkel/dive time. Silverswift usually travels to Milln or Flynn Reef, although occasionally we might stop at Thetford or Pellowe Reef. There is more information about this on the Silverseries website. The decision for which Reef and dive sites will be visited is made each day by the skipper and dive supervisor and takes into account factors such as the weather, passenger numbers and other vessels which may be using moorings. We hope this helps to answer your questions!

Hi, No. It was all very adult orientated with divers who have a recognised diving certification. But not necessarily with lots of diving experience. They may be other options that I am not aware of though. One trip I did where it is worth looking in to as it may see toddlers, is a trip to Green Island. Hope you find something suitable.
On the 1th of July we dived with Silverswift. It was very nice and we bought one diving picture for 20 dollar, paid on board. I never received my picture on the email (as agreed). Hope the photographer can contact me. Thanks.Jolien

You should have received a cd when you got off the boat. Contact the company directly. You will probably be able to download the picture off of the net.
