At the port there are taxis. Grab a local driver and take a van or two. You can negotiate the cost and split between you all.

We will be on a cruise in May and want to see this beach so badly. I am having trouble finding a reasonably priced tour or taxi to take us and stay with us. $250 is the price I was quoted. A bit too steep for me. Can I ask you how you arrived at the beach? Did you rent a car or take a taxi? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you,

At the port, take a car rental. They will give you a map and give you directions. It really is an easy drive on the highway. You can stop at a local store and grab some snacks. The trail to the beach is directly across from the Lucayan Reserve which is also a nice adventure. The trail (330m long) takes you through lush vegetation and mangroves but ends in the most A-Mazing view! You will love it!
