Eureka! isn't like other museums. Eureka! is an extraordinary fun-packed day out for kids aged 0-11. It has six unique zones to discover, each filled with hundreds of interactive exhibits designed to inspire inquisitive minds to find out about themselves and the world around them. Based in Halifax, next to the main railway station, Eureka! is the UK's only national children's museum. Since it opened in 1992, Eureka! has brought smiles to the faces of more than 7m visitors. Eureka! is an educational charity.

I am almost certain that these are located close to the reception area, however, please, please confirm this with the staff of the attraction as the lockers may no longer in service due to, let’s just say, issues. Yes, you can come and go as many times as you like as they give you a stamp on a wrist on entry. Also I think there are lockers and multiple places you can park a buggy if you wish. Not sure if you could eat your lunch at the cafe, and haven’t looked at outdoor picnic tables - maybe someone else will know.

There are two floors packed with activities for tots to 11/12 yr olds and a large cafe and shop. Also an outside area with large sand pit and eating/picnic area.
