Hello! :) The Crathes Castle is great for all sorts of families etc. There is a play area, shop, cafe, woodland and gardens etc. The main castle is the main attraction though, for kids too I think, and takes about 1 hourish etc to tour around. The tour costs around £7ish each I think, but please check with the website etc first to be sure. Thank-you! Best. Carl R. Hussey, Anglesey, UK. :)
Q:
Can you still get into the castle gardens for free before 4 pm?
A:
No. The gardens are £6.50 to enter and are locked when the castle is closed. Carparking is £3.00.

Folks. It can be problematic for less able-bodied people to visit ancient monuments and historic buildings. Obviously, given the nature and age of the building, adding modern conveniences like lifts, is not always possible. The best advice I can give is to contact each property that you intend to visit to discuss your concerns and hopefully, you will discover a way to enjoy at least a part of the place.
Q:
How much is parking for non-members?
A:
Last time I was there it was £2.00, but it may have gone up this year.
Q:
Can you get into the castle gardens for free?
A:
Is it possible to go round the gardens with a wheelchair
