Happy Gilmore 2, the much-anticipated follow-up to the canonical sports comedy that dominated pop culture at the turn of the century, opens with Adam Sandler’s irascible hero catching viewers up on the past 29 years.
Hulu's new historical drama Washington Black, starring Ernest Kingsley Jr. and Sterling K. Brown, is out now, and so is the fourth season of Acapulco on Apple TV Plus. And don't forget that part 2 of the HBO Max documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes is out on Friday, too.
The Owen Wilson comedy “Stick,” which streamed on Apple TV+, apparently found its audience. The service has renewed the comedy for a second season. “Stick,” which runs around a half hour per show, took a couple of episodes to get used to, but once it got to the third one, it didn’t take much to get hooked.
