Britain's new state-backed power company GB Energy will be headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland's third largest city, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Tuesday. GB Energy is a flagship policy of the Labour government that was elected in July.

The Prime Minister said the agency will be powered by the ‘talent and skills of the working people in the Granite City’.
