According to a recent public Atlanta Police Department report on crime in the city, crimes against properties and people have decreased. “Overall crime is down 5 percent over the previous year, with an 8 percent reduction in crimes against persons, and a 5 percent reduction in crimes against property,” said Schierbaum.
