A U.S. man was among three people killed by a fire that broke out in a hotel near Bangkok's popular Khao San Road area, Thai police say.

Thai police say a fire broke out at a hotel in a popular tourism area in Bangkok, killing three foreigners and injuring several other people.

Three foreign tourists died in a fire that ripped through a hotel in central Bangkok on Sunday night. The blaze, at the Ember Hotel in the Thai capital’s historic Phra Nakhon district, also left seven others with injuries.
