A video shows the Texas National Guard installing razor wire on its border with New Mexico to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing.

The expansion came three days after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said the state would triple its razor wire border barriers.

Texas’ latest move is a ‘political stunt’ that will have ‘will have no meaningful impact on our nation’s broken immigration system,’ New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham said

"At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIAs or mention any of the arrests."

Former senior-ranking U.S. Border Patrol official Aaron Heitke alleged in testimony given before House lawmakers that the Biden-Harris administration purposely covered up the crisis at the southern border as millions of migrants illegally entered the United States.

Retired San Diego Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke said he was instructed by the Biden administration to not publicize arrests of illegal border crossers identified as “Significant Interest Aliens” with ties to terrorism.
