The Chicago Bears lost again on Sunday, this time a demoralizing 19-3 loss to the New England Patriots. This makes it three losses in a row after a promising 4-2 start. Now, at 4-5, Chicago is left picking up the pieces.

The defensive turnaround should be credited to first-year defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington, who called an incredible game for the Patriots. One wrinkle in particular was the team using safety/special-teamer Brenden Schooler on third downs as a spy for quarterback Caleb Williams.
