EA Sports and Nintendo have teamed up to present gamers with a limited-time opportunity to try out EA Sports FC 25 for free on Nintendo Switch. Anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can download and play the latest entry in the iconic soccer sim franchise until March 3 at 2:59am EST.

Evolutions were first introduced into the world of EAFC in the autumn of 2024 for EA Sports FC 24. A year later, they remain just as popular — if not more — in EA Sports FC 25, as gamers around the world look to upgrade their players to make them overpowered and 'meta', a word consistently heard in the community.

EA has addressed an ongoing EA Sports FC 25 controversy fueled by conspiracy theories it claims are unfounded.

From February 24 to March 2, Switch Online subscribers will be able to download EA Sports FC 25 and play it for free. As opposed to a demo, where players are given a smaller part of the game to try out, Nintendo’s Game Trials give players access to the full game without restrictions.
