A 55-year-old man arrested for sex trafficking across Nassau County, Long Island is an undocumented immigrant, according to authorities. Investigators are aware of at least three women, who all allegedly fell victim to 55-year-old Jorge Ramos,

Ramos was arrested after an investigation connected him to prostitution in Nassau that took place over the course of seven months, police said.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul said she would not use her power to remove New York City Mayor Eric Adams as he faced a criminal indictment charging him with corruption, but she proposed new oversight of the mayor's office in an announcement on Thursday. Ryan Chang reports.
