The heaviest bands of snow have left Maine as of 5:15 am. Lighter snow and windy conditions look to continue mostly for Eastern Maine until about 9am.

Snow has come to an end across Maine, and frigid air is moving in. A mostly dry but very cold week is ahead with the coldest temps in about 2 years expected. Monday will be sunny, very cold, and breezy.

Snow scoots out first thing this morning, and in its wake is a whole lot of cold. Winds will gust to near 30 mph as some of the coldest air of the season is ushered in. This will be our primary focus for the next couple of days.

Tonight, temps drop significantly, and snow enters from the SW. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for counties closer to the Coast until Monday midday, while counties farther North and inland have been issued a Winter Weather Advisory.
