Aston Villa have offered an update on Marcus Rashford after the Manchester United loanee missed their FA Cup semi-final defeat to Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford misses today’s FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace through injury, Unai Emery has confirmed. Rashford had been ever-present for Villa in the competition since joining on loan from Manchester United during the January transfer window.

Rashford has become a regular at Villa Park since arriving on loan from United in January, ousting Watkins as the club’s first-choice striker, but was notably absent at Wembley for one of his new side’s biggest games of the season.
