The New Orleans attacker visited the city twice in the months prior to New Year’s, and used Meta smart glasses to film Bourbon Street and plan out his attack, FBI New Orleans Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil said Sunday.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, has been accused of driving into a crowd celebrating on Bourbon Street, killing 14 and injuring more than 30 people.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar wore the same Meta smart glasses when he carried out his New Year’s Day attack, but there’s no indication he was recording, authorities said.
