Cincinnati Bengals rookies were a major focal point of the team’s first preseason game in Week 1. While that’s usually the case, this year was a more dramatic example than in years past for a roster that doesn’t usually put rookies in big roles.

Patrick (leg) suited up for Thursday's 34-27 preseason loss to the Eagles. Patrick was injured in drills July 28 but was healthy enough to suit up for game action less than two weeks later. He's competing with Cody Ford for the starting right guard spot.
