OKLAHOMA CITY -- After pitching only one inning in the biggest game in Texas Tech softball history, pitcher NiJaree Canady watched the remainder of the game from the dugout. Canady, who started every game of the Women's College World Series for the Red Raiders finally hit her wall.

Texas Tech pitcher NiJaree Canady has signed another $1 million-plus NIL deal, a person with knowledge of the agreement told The Associated Press.

Gerry Glasco said he found the focus of NiJaree Canady's NIL deal with the Texas Tech softball team "insulting" during TV broadcasts of Red Raider games.
