Mortgage refi rates have fallen for a second day, lowering the 30-year average to its cheapest level since mid-October. Most other loan types saw rates hold steady or drop.

Interest rates on refinanced student loans are steady. For borrowers with a credit score of 720 or higher who prequalified on Credible.com’s student loan marketplace during the week of November 4, the average fixed interest rate on a 10-year refinance loan was 6.

The current median interest rate is 6.99% for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage and 6.13% for a 15-year fixed-rate mortgage
