Ohio State football will have a starter back from injury during Saturday’s contest against Marshall. Left guard Donovan Jackson, who has yet to play this year, will take the field, coach Ryan Day said Tuesday.

Ryan Day says Brandon Inniss earned reps as a kickoff returner in practice this week and that Inniss and Jayden Ballard could both return kicks against Marshall.

The Ohio State Buckeyes landed one of the top defensive backs in the country this past offseason, prying safety Caleb Downs away from the Alabama Crimson Tide. However, Downs may not be exclusively playing on the defensive side of the ball.
