A family in Santa Rosa is reeling after their elderly loved one lost more than half a million dollars to a sophisticated fraud scheme this year.

Police said the woman went missing on Christmas Eve at about 5:30 p.m. She left the memory care unit at Vineyard at Fountaingrove, at 200 Fountaingrove Pkwy.
