How to find Wo-Chien Wo-Chien isn't out and about waiting to be caught like a normal Pokémon. Instead, you will need to gather some hidden items to open up the shrine to reach him.
But before you can add Wo-Chien to your Pokedex, you're going to need to unlock the Purple Shrine that houses this Pokemon. To do that, you're going to need to find eight Purple Stakes.
Wo-Chien is one of the four Treasures of Ruin, a group of legendary Pokémon inspired by ancient Chinese mythology.
Thankfully, the shrine is just below the cliff where the eighth stake was discovered. Approach it and interact with it to begin the fight. Wo-Chien is a Dark/Grass-type Pokemon.
