Crunchyroll announced a new anime series adapted from Sucker Punch Productions’ popular “Ghost of Tsushima” video game.

Sony’s Crunchyroll has announced an anime adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima, the critically acclaimed video game by Sucker Punch Productions. The series will premiere exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027,

Crunchyroll will be the exclusive home to a Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime series, based on the PlayStation game's multiplayer mode.

Rahul Purini, president of Crunchyroll, said in a news release that the Ghost of Tsushima anime “will offer fans an exciting new way to experience the game in an anime style that will be bold and groundbreaking.

Crunchyroll revealed it is helping develop a series adaptation of popular video game Ghost of Tsushima and also said it plans to launch a manga app as a premium add-on for subscribers. The anime outlet made the announcements during Sony Corp.
