Peake will compete for the Open’s Claret Jug in July. His win also sets him up with a chance to claim a spot on the Challenger PGA Tour. He has Asian Tour membership through to the end of 2027.

Four years ago, Peake was picking up the pieces of his golf career after serving time in prison. A prodigious golf talent while growing up in Western Australia, big-hitting Peake once teamed up with future British Open winner Cameron Smith to win the boys' division of the Trans-Tasman Cup as 17-year-olds back in 2010.
