After an Oscars tribute from co-star Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman's death remained a mystery in the second week of the investigation.

The Oscar-winning actor was found dead on February 26 at his New Mexico home alongside his wife, Betsy Arakawa. Hackman was 95; Arakawa was 65.

A cause of death has not yet been determined; however, authorities said foul play is not suspected—however, mystery surrounds the circumstances of the tragedy, particularly after The New York Times reported that Hackman and Arakawa were found in separate rooms at the home.
