A 28-year-old Pullman who was shot near Washington State University’s Greek Row Thursday morning has died. Pullman police announced Friday morning that they are now investigating the death as a homicide. Officers say they were called to Northeast California Street around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday and found the man on the ground, unresponsive.

Pullman police say it happened Thursday just after 3:00 a.m. on Northeast California Street, near Washington State University’s Greek Row. When officers arrived, the man was unresponsive. He was rushed to Pullman Regional Hospital by the fire department.

The man was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital where he was in critical condition until his death. There is no threat to the public because the shooting appears to be “isolated,” according to the release.
