Built in the thick of the Cold War, under a nuclear threat, and inspired by the space age, Brutalist buildings in Berlin look like massive, monumental, out of this world fortifications.

It’d be a shame to see the Berlin Wall, its history, and the tourism dollars it attracts so frivolously discarded for an apartment building ... of the city's most iconic images.
