Trump's transition team confirmed the news to political outlet Axios on Monday (Jan. 13), also adding that the Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club will accompany her during her performance at the event.

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will perform "America the Beautiful" at U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, according to a copy of the program shared by a spokesperson of the presidential inaugural committee.

The presidential parade after Trump is sworn in will include about 7,500 participants including first responders, veterans groups and school marching bands. First responders from Butler County, Pennsylvania, where Trump survived an assassination attempt, will be among the groups participating.
