Pa. (CBS) -- A man was fatally shot by police in Reading on Monday morning, the Berks County District Attorney's Office said. The DA's office identified the man as 50-year-old Damon Stern.

The family of a man shot and killed by a Reading police officer earlier this year have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the department. The officer shot 50-year-old Damon Stern on March 25.
