Last October, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tenn., on multiple charges, including driving under the influence and gun possession while under the influence. Cutler was initially booked into Williamson County Jail, and later bailed himself out on $5,000 bond. Now Cutler will face additional jail time for the charges.

The weapons possession charge from the arrest was dropped as part of the guilty plea. The former Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins quarterback will serve jail time, pay a $350 fine and forfeit a gun. His Tennessee license has also been revoked.

A Williamson County judge accepted a guilty plea from 42-year-old Jay Cutler and his attorneys. Cutler was arrested on Oct. 17, 2024, after he rear-ended a blue GMC with his white Dodge Ram truck on Bridge Street.
