Veteran cornerback Darius Slay said the Eagles are the only team that can call him if he decides to come out of semi-retirement.
Philadelphia had interest in former Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney, but he instead signed a one-year contract with the Giants, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Mooney could serve as New York’s No. 2 wide receiver next season across from Malik Nabers.
While he continues to lead the offense for the Philadelphia Eagles, QB1 Jalen Hurts has found a new career away from football this offseason. Hurts has often used his platform to help the community with various off-field ventures.
Dallas Goedert is coming back. Goedert and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a new one-year contract, keeping him with the franchise for a ninth season. The news was first reported on Sunday by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Eagles are not committing to Goedert long term. They could draft his replacement in April’s draft without having to rush that player onto the field next season. Goedert could give Philadelphia one more year of significant production before they make a full transition at that position.
