Former UTEP coach Dana Dimel dies in his sleep at age 62He is survived by his wife, Julie, and children, Winston and Josey. Dimel was 20-49 at UTEP and led the team to the New Mexico Bowl in 2021, when he was named the El Paso Times Newsmaker of the Year.
