Meta is doubling down on AI agents with Muse Spark 1.1, a model that doesn't just answer questions — it can use apps, browse the web, and even operate your computer to complete tasks on your behalf.
By Harshita Mary Varghese and Katie Paul July 9 (Reuters) - Meta Platforms on Thursday released long-awaited developer access to its Muse Spark AI alongside an upgraded version, pitting it directly against the business models of Anthropic and OpenAI in charging for use of its AI model.
Meta says Muse Spark 1.1 surpasses models from OpenAI and Anthropic on certain benchmarks—but didn’t include comparisons to rival AI labs’ most recent releases.
"No one's name, image, likeness, voice, or creative work should be used by any third party, including AI models, without clear, documented consent," the talent agency said in a statement Wednesday night.
