Elon Musk's ties to the Trump administration have provoked protests and violent attacks on Tesla across the U.S.

U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi said on Thursday three people have been charged in connection with arson incidents at Tesla car dealerships and charging stations.The Justice Department said the individuals each face between five and 20 years in prison if convicted.

Two Tesla vehicles in different parts of the country were vandalized by passersby who appeared to wipe feces on them.
