Lillard follows in the footsteps of other notable NBA players who have stepped into similar roles. Zachary Powell, The Athletic Damian Lillard will be using his experience at the collegiate and professional levels to elevate the program at Weber State.

The 9-time NBA All-Star and former Wildcats star is taking on an active role in building the Weber State program.

The news comes after the nine-time NBA All-Star rejoined his original Trail Blazers team after being waived by the Bucks.
