The Gasparilla Children’s Parade will kick off a week of festivities on Saturday. It will be a fun-filled day as little pirates invade Bayshore. Along the street, seats, grandstands, and gates are already set up.

Pint-sized pirates are taking over Bayshore Boulevard this Saturday for the Children’s Gasparilla Parade. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

First, let’s go over the parade route. The Children’s Gasparilla Parade runs along Bayshore Boulevard, stepping off at Bay to Bay and ending at Edison Ave. It’s shorter than the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates which is the following weekend.

The city of Tampa has an interactive parking map that displays neighborhood parking for Children's Gasparilla. According to the city, "No Parking" and "Parking By Permit Only" signs will be posted and enforced Friday and Saturday beginning Jan. 17 at 12:01 a.m. - Jan. 18, and at this time, illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.
