Recent reports indicated the Warriors were offering something like two years and $45 million, while Kuminga wanted closer to $30 million per year. But if Golden State truly puts its foot in the ground and says it isn't trading Kuminga right now, then the two sides can pull up to the table and figure out a compromise.

Per the San Francisco Standard's Tim Kawakami, the Golden State Warriors don't plan to trade Kuminga this summer and he'll be on the team's roster to star the season. Kawakami noted that Kuminga's pathways back to the Warriors are to accept the team's offer or to take the $7.9 million qualifying offer that Golden State extended to him.
