No arrests had been made in the Houston-area in connection with the New Orleans attack that killed 15 and injured dozens more as of Thursday morning, officials said. The truck used in the early morning attack had a Texas license plate. A man, who would not identify himself, at the Pasadena address connected to the license plate did not answer questions when approached by KHOU 11 News. He only confirmed that the vehicle had been rented out.

The suspect in a deadly attack in New Orleans has been identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S.-born citizen from Texas, according to the FBI.
