The Johnson County Parks and Recreation department shared video of the flooding in Mill Creek Streamway Trail on Facebook. The video even shows the flood water going over a bridge that is normally above the trail.
A man was killed and two others are hospitalized after a shooting Wednesday at an apartment complex in Garden City. The victim was identified as 23-year-old Brayden Becker. Three teens, ages 19, 16 and 15, were arrested in connection with the shooting, the Garden City Police Department said in a social media post Thursday.
