Former OpenAI chief technology officer Mira Murati launched an AI startup called Thinking Machines Lab on Tuesday, with a team of about 30 leading researchers and engineers from competitors including OpenAI,

Murati’s Thinking Machines Lab has been poaching AI experts from rival AI companies to build a dream team. For instance, OpenAI co-founder John Schulman is now chief scientist at Murati’s firm, while Barrett Zoph, also from OpenAI, is the startup’s CTO.

Mira Murati, who left OpenAI last year, has helped establish Thinking Machines Lab, a new artificial intelligence start-up.
