Netflix just announced a release date and a first look at Squid Game season three. During the streamer’s major slate presentation, Next on Netflix, the streamer announced that the mega-hit Korean-language drama and Netflix’s most popular series is slated to return for its final installment on June 27th.

Lee stars in Season 2 of “Squid Game” alongside returning cast member Wi Ha-jun as Jun-ho and Lee Byung-hun as the mysterious Front Man, alongside a slew of new stars. Hwang Dong-hyuk is the creator of the series and serves as director and executive producer, with Kim Ji-yeon also serving as an EP.

Following the huge success of Squid Game season 1 and Squid Game season 2, which only landed in December 2024, Netflix announced last year that the biggest show in the streamer's history would be getting a third season and with the next installment coming in June, it means fans won't have to wait as long as they did for season 2 to arrive.
