Jaden Springer has found a new home one week after being released by the Utah Jazz. The former Celtics guard has signed a contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, the team announced. The terms of the deal were not released, but it’s safe to assume it’s for a league minimum deal heading into training camp this fall.

Springer, who played collegiately at the University of Tennessee, was a late first round pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2021 draft. He's played with the 76ers, Boston Celtics and most recently with the Utah Jazz. He was a member of the Celtics’ championship team in the 2023-’24 season after being traded to Boston from Philly.
