Amen Thompson notched five steals in the first half to establish a tone of tenacity on defense that galvanized the Rockets in 131-116 romp that forced Game 6 against the Warriors on Friday in San Francisco.

The Golden State Warriors struggled on both ends of the court to squander a chance to close out their first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets.

Stephen Curry is playing through a nasty thumb injury, while also dealing with a pelvic injury he suffered late in the season. Curry's co-star, Jimmy Butler, took a brutal fall in Game 2, as he's now also dealing with a pelvic injury.

After Curry’s jump shots, Rockets defenders made an effort to swipe at his compromised digit while he snapped his wrist. The Warriors’ television broadcast picked up the trend during Game 5, which led to accusations that the Rockets were attempting to injure Curry.
