Mowbray stepped down at Birmingham City in February last year for medical treatment but has received the all-clear from medical staff and the League Managers’ Association to make his return. Mowbray had a three-year spell at West Brom early in his management career and led the Baggies to the Championship title before his move to Celtic after relegation from the Premier League the following season.
