WWE’s has amped up its efforts to hurt AEW via counter-programming. Some recent examples of this include booking Goldberg’s retirement match on the same date as AEW’s biggest event of the year (All In Texas) in July, and then scheduling the upcoming Wrestlepalooza PLE on the same date (Sept. 20) as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
