A pedestrian was killed early Saturday at an Alexandria intersection, according to police. The victim has been identified as Marcus Billops, 39, according to an Alexandria Police Department release.

The person who had died was identified as John Gallo, 70, of Polk Street. APD said foul play is not suspected in Gallo’s death.
ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - An Alexandria man has been accused of selling meth out of his motel room located at 1000 MacArthur Drive, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office. RPSO said its Rapides Area Drug Enforcement Unit received complaints about Russell Paul Marceaux, 46, allegedly selling the meth.
COLFAX, La. (KALB) - A man has been arrested in Colfax following an investigation into the theft of a vehicle in Alexandria. The Colfax Police Department reports that Zackery Warren, 28, was located on Horseshoe Drive with the vehicle. CPD responded to the location and detained him.
