Chase caught 10 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Cincinnati's 19-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, which gave him 127 receptions for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns for the season. That made him the first receiver in NFL history to eclipse both 1,700 receiving yards and 17 receiving touchdowns in a single season.

After the win over the Steelers, Ja’Marr Chase hopped on social media to react to him being on the verge of history. Pending Sunday’s games, he’s now all but guaranteed to become the NFL’s first triple-crown winner since Cooper Kupp did it in 2021 and Steve Smith Jr. did it in 2005.

Chase finished the 2024 season with 17 touchdowns, 1,708 yards and 127 receptions. In the Bengals' recent 19-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chase's last game of the regular season, he recorded one touchdown and 96 yards on 10 receptions.

The Cincinnati Bengals star became just the sixth wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to win the triple crown. Chase finished the year with 1,708 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on 127 receptions, all of which were career-highs. He averaged 100.5 yards per game, too, and he was targeted 175 times.

One bright spot for the Bengals was the play of star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, finished the season as the leader in receiving yards with 1,708. Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson was second with 1,533, and no other player topped the 1,500-yard mark.

Star running backs Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry wasted no time settling into their new homes.
